Building a Pathway for More Green Energy Contractors

SPARK INNOVATION

Our partnership with the local nonprofit JobTrain expands access to economic opportunity while building the clean energy workforce. JobTrain supports community members facing barriers to employment, helping them move into stable, long-term careers.

Through this partnership, Menlo Spark collaborates on JobTrain’s heat pump installation student cohort, providing economic opportunity to community members who need it most by lifting people out of poverty with sustainable work.

Partner with Us

PARTNERSHIPS WITH CLEAN ENERGY CONTRACTORS

Become a partner contractor with the Menlo Spark & JobTrain Clean Energy Workforce Development Program. Doing so will give you access to hundreds of students that seek meaningful apprenticeships and careers in heat pump installation and maintenance. Our students graduate with significant heat pump installation training received over the course of the 16-week program, including hands-on learning in the JobTrain heat pump lab. Students also graduate with OSHA 10 and EPA 608 certifications complete.

Menlo Spark is offering a one-time incentive of up to $4000 for heat pump contractors that successfully hire students from our program (while funding lasts).
